Nashville IES Section February Meeting, 2024

Please join the Nashville Section of the IES for a casual review of a unique and growing local project at Plaza
achi. The event will be hosted by the project owner, Mark Janbakhsh, who will describe how his vision of a
simple flea market evolved into one of the most sensational shopping and entertainment venues in
Nashville. The IES section will provide meal vouchers so you can sample the various food vendors located
within the courtyard area, to be followed by a walk-through tour of the various spaces led by project lighting
designer Richard Davis of Ardee Design Group, LLC. You will see how themed lighting was introduced
throughout the mall area, and how a central lighting control processor manages multiple spaces, even triggers
exterior themed lighting and audio events.
